Why my dog might not alert properly during a training with Getxent tubes
The odor profile released by the impregnated Getxent tube is identical to the one from the real material.
If your dog is not alerting properly on the impregnated Getxent tubes, the reason is that the intensity of the odor released by the Getxent tube is outside your dog's detection range (see https://www.mdpi.com/2076-2615/11/2/326).
Most dogs are typically trained with high odor concentrations. Therefore, we recommend:
- Increasing impregnation duration of a blank Getxent tube
- Using multiple Odor Getxent tubes together (at least 3 tubes)
