Can I train my dog to find submerged cadavers?
Yes, impregnated Getxent tubes can be used for underwater detection in the same way as any standard training.
Indeed, as the odor molecules are absorbed into the Getxent material, the molecules are preserved under water. Then, they can be released into the water as it is in the air.
It is especially useful to train your dog detecting dead bodies or human remain in ponds, lakes, etc. Odor Getxent tubes infused with odor of cadaver is available on our shop.
After use, if the tube is dirty, you can clean it with tap water.
